Kristine Opolais returns to the Tanglewood Festival next summer to sing the title role in the first two acts of Verdi’s epic masterpiece Aida, in concert with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Opolais’ husband, Music Director Andris Nelsons, leads the BSO, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and an international roster of soloists, including Andrea Caré as Radames and Kwangchul Youn as Ramfis, for this spectacular concert. The performance takes place August 20 at the Koussevitzky Music Shed, with ticket sales open to the public on January 24.
