Kristine Opolais returns to the Tanglewood Festival this month, for a spectacular evening of operatic favorites and musical classics with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Andris Nelsons. The performance, hosted at The Koussevitzky Shed on August 26, includes the complete second act of Puccini’s Tosca, with Ms. Opolais singing the title role, Sir Bryn Terfel as Scarpia, and Russell Thomas as Cavaradossi. The programme also features other operatic selections, including the “Song to the Moon” from Rusalka with Ms. Opolais as soloist, in addition to pieces by Wagner and Gershwin.
