Kristine Opolais returns to the Royal Opera House on September 4 for an exciting evening of opera, live from the stage in Covent Garden. Under the baton of Antonio Pappano, Ms. Opolais and an outstanding cast of singers will perform much-loved classics of the opera repertory, joined by current Jette Parker Young Artists, 67 members of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and members of the Royal Opera Chorus.
Kristine will perform arias from two of her signature roles: Dvořák’s ‘Song to the Moon’ from Rusalka, and the stunning Act I Duet ‘Te Deum’ from Puccini’s Tosca with Gerald Finley as Scarpia, Filipe Manu as Spoletta, and Jeremy White as Sacristan. The starry cast will also include Lisette Oropesa, Aigul Akhmetshina, Charles Castronovo, and Vito Priante. BBC’s Katie Derham hosts the concert.
