On November 5, Kristine Opolais joins the Orchestra of the Finnish National Opera (FNO) at the Musiikkitalo, as part of a four-night concert series. She sings the soprano solo in Dmitry Shostakovich’s profound and introspective Symphony No. 14, Op. 135, performing alongside Finnish bass Mika Kares, under the baton of Roderick Cox. The orchestra will also play Sergei Rachmaninoff’s lush Symphonic Dances.
