This month, Kristine Opolais will make her highly anticipated debut with the Opéra national de Paris in one of her signature roles, Dvořák’s Rusalka. She has performed the stunning and silvery role of the water nymph to critical acclaim at some of the world’s most renowned opera houses, including the Wiener Staatsoper and the Bayerische Staatsoper.
Ms. Opolais sings alongside a splendid cast in this production, including Pavel Cernoch as the Prince, Alisa Kolosova as the Foreign Princess, and Dimitry Ivashchenko as the Water Goblin, with Jakub Hrůša leading from the pit. Performances take place April 16, 18, 23 & 26 at the spectacular Opéra Bastille, with a select date receiving a future broadcast on France Musique.
