Kristine Opolais returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper this spring, to revisit the role of Tatjana in Tchaikovsky’s dark and romantic masterpiece Eugene Onegin May 2, 5, 9 & 13. Kristine’s previous performance as Tatjana at Bayerische Staatsoper received high praise: “ . . . the “letter” scene is the first chance to spend intimate time with a character and Kristine Opolais, as Tatiana, makes the absolute most of this opportunity, fully immersing herself in the music and the emotion.” (Man In Chair)
She is joined by a fantastic cast for these performances, including Michael Nagy in the title role and Alexey Dolgov as Lenski, with Andriy Yurkevych leading the Bayerische Staatsoper Orchestra and Chorus. Please note there is extremely limited ticket availability for all performances.
