Kristine Opolais is a featured soloist at The Metropolitan Opera’s celebration of its 50th Anniversary at Lincoln Center. The concert, hosted on May 7, is a highlight of The Met’s spring season, and the evening also includes a post-performance dinner. Ms. Opolais will sing the beloved aria “Vissi d’arte” from Puccini’s Tosca, accompanied by The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. She stars in a new production of the work next season at The Met – additional info is available here. Other artists scheduled to appear on the Gala Concert include Plácido Domingo, René Pape, Joseph Calleja, and more. Director and set designer Julian Crouch and projection designers 59 Productions will set the stage for an unforgettable evening of performances.
