This month, Kristine Opolais makes her debut at the Turku Music Festival in the Opening Concert with the Finnish Radio Symphony. On August 10, Hannu Lintu will take the podium at the Turku Concert Hall with the Finnish Radio Symphony and Ms. Opolais. The concert program will include signature arias dear to Ms. Opolais and other classics, combined with Finnish contemporary music. Kristine has also selected arias from roles she plans to add in future seasons, such as Desdemona from Verdi’s Otello, Elisabetta from Don Carlos, Liù from Puccini’s Turandot and the title role in La Wally by Catalani.
