On July 13, Kristine Opolais returns to the Tanglewood Festival to perform Verdi’s Requiem for the festival’s gala concert. Ms. Opolais shares the stage with a starry roster of artists, including mezzo-soprano Oksana Volkova, tenor Jonathan Tetelman, and bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green. Andris Nelsons conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood Festival Chorus.

This special evening will begin with a festive pre-concert cocktail reception and gala dinner in the new Center for Music and Learning. Guests will move from the dinner to the gala concert, in the Koussevitzky Music Shed, for the highly anticipated performance of Verdi’s Requiem led by Maestro Nelsons.
