Kristine Opolais returns to the Greek National Opera as the title role of Puccini’s Tosca on July 28 & 30, led by Philippe Auguin. Ms. Opolais returns to Athens to star as opera’s quintessential diva, which she made her house debut in 2007. Part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, this impressive production is staged with sets and costumes by the celebrated Argentine opera director Hugo de Ana.

Ms. Opolais will share the stage with Ramón Vargas as Cavaradossi, Dimitri Platanias as Scarpia, Tassos Apostolou as Angelotti, Yanni Yannissis as Sacristan, Vangelis Maniatis as Sciarrone, Evita Chioti as a shepard boy, and Yannis Kalyvas as Spoletta.
