Kristine Opolais begins the new year starring in two concerts with the Gulbenkian Orchestra and conductor Oksana Lyniv on January 5 & 6. The program will feature some of Kristine’s favorite opera arias including Cilea’s “Io son l’umile ancella” from Adriana Lecouvreur, Verdi’s “Pace, pace, mio ​​Dio!” from La forza del Destino, arias from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and Dvořák’s “Song to the Moon” from Rusalka. Additionally, the program will feature orchestral works by Verdi, Massenet, and Johann Strauss II.
