On April 18, Kristine Opolais joins the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra for Flying Apsaras — A Concert by LIN Daye, Kristine Opolais and the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra, performed at Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts. 

Under the baton of LIN Daye, Opolais joins the orchestra for Strauss’ transcendent, deeply moving meditation on life’s end, Four Last Songs, a piece she sang previously with NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo. The concert also features music by LI Shaosheng, including 2024’s Wuxi Overture for Orchestra and the world premiere of the Symphonic Suite: Flying Apsaras.
